REFLECTIONS

For whatever reasons, I am fascinated with reflections of anything, but escpecially of balloons reflected in water, or glass. I routinely mentioned to my passengers as we pass over water to view the reflections, as this is what the folks on the ground see. That is, until two of my passengers who were a father-son engineering team quickly but politely corrected me by saying that "because the light has traveled twice the distance for us to view, the image we see from the balloon is half the size of what the folks on the ground see". I stand pleasantly corrected. I share some of these images with you below:
