When do balloons fly?
Ballooning is safest in calm winds which are found in the early morning or late evening. So the best times are at Sunrise and about two hours before Sunset. Weekends can be flown either morning or evenings and weekdays can be flown in the evenings during Daylight Savings time.

If you wish to schedule a flight, usually a two-week notice is plenty. If you wish to fly on a specific date, please reserve that date as early as possible and confirm it 2-3 weeks prior.

On the flight date, Mike will check the weather about two hours prior to flight time and make the final decision as to whether the flight can be made safely and from where. You will be contacted as soon as that decision is made so you'll have plenty of time to reach the launch site.

With promises of HOPE for the future
Often times, a flight leads to a life together, when during the serenity, privacy, and quietness of the flight, a question is asked and an answer given. That question may come in a quiet whisper, a nervous shaken stutter, or a message placed on the ground below.

They found each other later in life and married. Here, James renews his love to Pamela as they celebrate their 3rd anniversary with a balloon ride on the Sun Catcher.

One of the most unique proposal methods I have seen, was Dan's placing a very small message into his binoculars, and then asking his lady friend Linda to look at something during the flight that he found interesting. She looked, sighed, cried and said yes, or I think the big kiss meant yes. Dan called me early Dec 2006 and verified a weddng date is set for early 2007.
