Sun Catcher Balloon Flights

Your balloon flight is a gentle escape from the confines of your earthbound environment. You will rise effortlessly, feeling no sensation of lifting, however more likely that the earth has lowered and started moving away. As the balloon moves with the wind, you will feel no breeze except for the slight changes that occur as the balloon enters a faster or slower current or a different direction.

Your pilot: Mike was captivated from the moment he took his first flight in 1980. He crewed and took lessons, learning both sides of ballooning. Logging over 1675 hours, he flew a corporate promotional balloon from 1985-1988 flying in more than 37 states from Florida to New York and California to Washington as well as Canada during the 1988 Winter Olympics. He settled in Dayton, Ohio during the summer of 1988.Your pilot and crew are here to make your flight as enjoyable as possible.

I met John Lewis in Jan. of 1980 when he landed his balloon in Palm Desert, California. A friendship immediately developed as he shared his love of ballooning with me. He allowed me to crew for him and instructed me in the art of balloon flying which allowed me to gain my pilot's license and share my new found love with so many. We both carry this love today. THANK YOU JOHNNY

The International Space Station that floats 250 miles above the earth has 15,000 cu. ft. of liveable space for its habitants. The Sun Catcher balloon has 90,000 cu. ft. of room inside that allows it to fly a few thousand feet above the earth or just above the trees. Interesting fact.
